The Nether is pretty barren. with the original VoxeLibre textures it looks properly dead.
But there are mobs, they are just very rare. So far sighted:

- pigmen
- momma pigs
Materials:
- netherrack
- soul sand
- lava
- crimson hyphae
- glowstone (+dust)
- nether quartz
- crimson roots
